In the beginning, eighteen years ago, it was just the two of us and the realization of a wild idea: a badass store filled with things we love—things that literally save lives. The plan? To be rich by the time we hit fifty, running things from a yacht (one of us) or swinging in a hammock above a river (the other).
We were doing great. A few hand-picked products, no online store (which, for those who don’t know, is basically a whole separate business), no staff, no imports from abroad—just simple stuff. But here's the truth: whatever doesn’t evolve and adapt to the times is doomed to die. That's a rule.
And yet, we’re still very much alive—now with a top-tier e-shop across Greece (and beyond), three warehouses, and thousands of products. Dimos is the one prepping and shipping all the awesome things you order, Evi creates our entire visual identity and social media madness from scratch with her out-of-this-world imagination, Christina uploads new products on the site like a maniac so you get them on time, Lena handles the chaotic deliveries and storage, and Konstantinos, Manos, and Lefteris share their knowledge to match what you need with what you actually want.
And of course, there’s me and Giorgos—still with the same fire (maybe even more, not gonna lie)—jumping in wherever needed to keep the engine running smooth.
Remember that yacht and hammock plan? Still pending. But I wake up every morning actually looking forward to getting here, making coffee, joking around with the crew, rolling up our sleeves, working hard, unwinding, and heading home feeling full and happy.
