The outer shell is made with Premium Integrated Matrix (PIM) technology — an advanced composite material that combines pre-impregnated layers of epoxy resin and special high-strength fibers, such as those used in aeronautics and racing. HJC's 2nd generation PIM construction increases impact resistance, while reducing weight and ensuring stability and durability even in the most demanding conditions.

The aerodynamic design, tested in a wind tunnel, reduces air resistance and offers stability at high speeds. The ACS - Advanced Channeling Ventilation System ensures full air circulation from front to back, removing heat and moisture through two intakes and two exhausts.

The HJ-48 visor is Pinlock-ready, provides 99% UV protection, and features an anti-scratch coating. The push-release locking system offers security and convenience, while the multi-position mechanism of the inner tinted visor allows you to adjust it to exactly the position you need - ideal for when the sun is right in front of you on the ride. The internal tinted sun visor is anti-fog and free of optical distortions, for clear vision in any light.

The interior of the helmet is lined with antibacterial fabric, which absorbs moisture and dries quickly. The cheek pads and head lining are removable and washable, while special grooves for glasses offer comfort to those who ride with them. In case of emergency, the Emergency Kit (cheek pads) allows for quick and safe removal of the helmet.
